Rüdiger Hauffe, born in Zittau in 1983, discovered his passion for acting as a stage technician, even before his training he stepped behind the curtain on the stage of the Gerhart Hauptmann Theater in Zittau. In Hamburg, he studied at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater and received his first engagement at the Oldenburg Staatstheater for over 3 years. In 2014 he became a permanent ensemble member at the Staatstheater Mainz, a bond he holds to this day. Between 2017 and 2021 he worked freelance as an actor, speaker and singer, making guest appearances at the Staatsschauspiel Dresden, the Semperoper Dresden and the See- & Burgtheater Kreuzlingen, among others. He has been a permanent ensemble member at the Lucerne Theater since 2021. He has worked on a variety of plays with directors such as Christopher Rüping, Thom Luz, Jan-Christoph Gockel, Niklaus Helbling, Brit Bartkowiak, Klaus Schumacher, Ekat Cordes, Peter Jordan, Leonard Koppelmann and Manfred Weiß.
Most recently, he appeared in front of the camera as the Doctor (NR) in "Wilder IV", as Anton Felix Schindler (HR) in the 3sat film version of "Beethoven - Ein Geisterspiel" and as Otto Wesendonck (HR) in the historical feature film "Die Zürcher Affäre - Wagners einzige Liebe". ... weniger
